Introductions?

This blog’s main purpose would be for us to show our writings and receive feedback on everything from style to grammar and sentence structures as well as comments. Our main interest is receiving opinions, critique and helpful comments are more than welcome.

If you have anything to say, flaming, insults and other such things are also welcome! Since if you’re doing it you’re going to do it whether we like it or not, so we thought we should give you a go ahead! Be immature! Life’s short, so why not waste it by attacking some strangers via internet? Surely nothing must be better!

(Please note that the above paragraph is sarcasm).

About the writings in itself, every short story (because that’s what they will mostly be), is written by us and thus, it belongs to us! Don’t steal you unoriginal butt.

Our purpose right now is to complete the quota of one short story per week. Not really that much, but you never know with all this absentmindedness.

Now, you’re probably wondering why we keep referring two ourselves as two or more people, but that’s because we are. That’s the reason the name is Pirates & Unicorns. There’s a pirate and a unicorn.

I am also quite sure you’re currently stunned at the originality of it and are pretty much speechless and filled with admiration for our unique wit and odd sense of humor and will now proceed to stalk us despite the fact that you are so little compared to our greatness. Now BOW DOWN! BOW DOWN I SAY!

(O.K., that was sarcasm as well, in case you couldn’t tell).

Since now we are bored, we present to you a very unoriginal and very simple riddle which ‘I’ found in the newspaper earlier this day.

You are in a funeral procession, a woman has died. In a corner you see a man crying, you make your way carefully towards the man and ask what his relation is with the woman. The man looks up and simply answers: “Brothers and sisters I have none, but her father is my father’s son.” What is the man’s relation with the woman?
